Sipping, Clinking, and "Gan Bei!": Moutai Rings in the Year of the Snake

The prestigious HCG Chinese New Year Reception, held on February 3rd at Yu Garden, was an extraordinary celebration of the Lunar New Year. Over 200 prominent guests, including Mr. Peter Tschentscher, the Mayor of Hamburg, and Mr. Cong Wu, the Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Hamburg, joined multicultural communities to celebrate Chinese culture and embrace the spirit of friendship.

The celebration held profound meaning as guests welcomed the Year of the Snake through a harmonious blend of traditional Chinese customs and contemporary sophistication. With Moutai at the heart of the festivities, guests enjoyed the renowned Moutai Flying Fairy alongside our Moutai cocktails, experiencing the essence of China’s iconic spirit—a perfect fusion of heritage and contemporary flair.

Among the highly respected guests were government officials, business leaders, and cultural representatives, all gathered to partake in the joyous atmosphere. The event highlighted the strong ties between Hamburg and China while nurturing new relationships among the diverse group of guests.

The night was filled with the cheerful clinking of glasses and spirited exclamations of "Gan Bei!"  embodying a true sense of celebration and camaraderie. The event seamlessly reflected Moutai's commitment to elevate the art of fine dining, exceptional drinking, and a refined way of life, while fostering meaningful connections between the German and Chinese communities.
